For Those Near to Rock (Nosotros Salute Y'all) (referred to as For Those Nigh to Rock on its embrace) is the seventh studio album by Australian hard stone band Ac/DC. It was released on 20 November 1981. [two]

The album is a follow-upward to their highly successful album Back in Black. For Those About to Rock has sold over four million copies in the US. It would be AC/DC's start and only No. 1 album in the U.S. until the release of Black Water ice in Oct 2008. In their original 1981 review, Rolling Stone magazine declared information technology to be their all-time anthology. In Australia, the album peaked at No. 3 on the Kent Music Study Albums Chart.[3]

The album, recorded in Paris, was the third and final Ac/DC collaboration with producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The anthology was re-released in 2003 as office of the AC/DC Remasters series.

Releases [edit]

The album was re-released in 1985 on CD format mastered by Barry Diament from the original master tapes.[4] In 1994 information technology was reissued after being digitally remastered from the original main tapes[5] with significantly more pinch than the 1987 release.[ commendation needed ]

For Those Most to Rock became the starting time Ac/DC anthology to always hitting No. 1 in the United states on the Billboard nautical chart and stayed on the top for three weeks. To date, in the U.s., information technology has achieved 4 one thousand thousand sales. In the United kingdom of great britain and northern ireland, the anthology's 2 singles, "Let's Get It Upwards" and "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)", made it to No. 13 and No. fifteen, respectively. The anthology has sold an estimated seven meg copies worldwide, making it ane of the highest sold AC/DC albums worldwide.[ citation needed ]. However it marks a major drop-off in sales in the United States, only selling 4 meg as follow-up to the 25× platinum Back in Black. In a 2008 Rolling Stone cover story, David Fricke singled out the championship track for praise, noting its "unusual stop-start effect that hooks you just equally hard as their usual railroad drive."[ citation needed ]
